A global technical failure has been recorded in the work of artificial intelligences, including Gemini, Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT
Popular AIs including Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT have all experienced major outages, affecting users in multiple countries. Data from Downdetector shows that OpenAI’s ChatGPT platform is the most frequently reported.
As of this morning Pacific Time, more than 2,000 reports of outages had been received, with the peak of the outages occurring in the evening Indian Time, with over 7,600 reports in the UK alone. Similar issues were also reported in the US and India, with over 1,700 reports in each country.
According to Openthemagazine.com, the ChatGPT chatbot has been down for thousands of people around the world, with OpenAI confirming that they are investigating the incident, which affected both the main platform and the Codex service.
Official company sources explain the situation as a “performance drop” that affected key functions, from authorization to voice mode and regular chats. At the same time, a message appeared on the Google AI Studio status page that “the Gemini API is having problems processing newly created keys,” which also confirms the systemic nature of the failure in the artificial intelligence industry.
