A grant program for veteran businesses is starting in Ukraine
Ukraine is launching a grant program for small and medium-sized businesses owned by veterans. Each of the 20 winners will receive financial assistance that will cover the cost of 30,000 kWh of electricity consumed within six months, which will save up to UAH 300,000 on bills. This is reported by the press service of YASNO.
The application process started on September 9 and will continue until October 19. This is the first initiative that provides irrevocable financial assistance specifically for paying for electricity. To participate, it is necessary to fill the form on the website within the specified period. The winners will be determined on October 29, 2025 using the service random.org.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses who are clients of YASNO LLC can apply if:
- the business is owned by veterans or their share is at least 50% (veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014 from the categories: combatants, persons with disabilities, war participants);
- average electricity consumption for the last six months did not exceed 15 thousand kWh.
“We want to give light to a veteran business. Therefore, at the first stage, we will provide 20 grants in the form of irrevocable financial assistance for paying electricity bills. This is an opportunity for each winning business to save about UAH 300,000 and to focus on business development issues and to forget a little about electricity bills without complicated procedures, said Serhii Kovalenko, YASNO CEO.
