A man was killed and several others were injured in a nighttime attack by the Russian Federation in Kyiv
As a result of the nighttime missile and drone attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv, one person was killed, four others were injured, three of them are in hospital. The strike occurred on the night of January 24, when Russian troops attacked the capital region with missiles and “Shahed” drones. Air defense forces were operating in the city and region. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on the preliminary consequences.
Damage was recorded in five districts of the capital. In the Darnytskyi district, fragments of a UAV fell near a private medical facility, breaking windows in the building, without catching fire. In the Desnyanskyi district, the remains of a drone damaged a non-residential building.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell on the territory of a garage cooperative, where a fire broke out, and a fuel truck caught fire in the parking lot. Windows were broken in a nearby apartment building. In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire was recorded in the territory of a non-residential building after debris from a downed “shaheed” fell. At another address, the blast wave damaged a private house. In the Solomyanskyi district, debris damaged a six-story office building.
There are also reports of disruptions in heat and water supply on the left bank of Kyiv.
