A local resident will be tried in Dnipro for the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl on January 29.

According to the investigation, on the evening of January 29, on one of the streets of Dnipro, the accused raped an 11-year-old girl near the heating line. After that, he inflicted multiple stab wounds on the child, from which she died at the scene of the crime.
According to the results of the forensic medical examination, at least 19 stab wounds to the head, neck, and chest were found on the child’s body, and rape was confirmed.
Juvenile prosecutors sent an indictment against the Dnipro resident to the court under item 2 of part 2 of article 115 and part 4 of article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He may face life imprisonment. The man is currently in custody.
