A memorial service for Charlie Kirk was held in Arizona

In the city of Glendale, Arizona, a memorial service was held for the far-right activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed two weeks ago. This is reported by CNN.

During the event, Kirk was repeatedly called a martyr whose life will live on because of his movement. US President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance and a number of administration representatives emphasized that after his death, Kirk’s mission is only gaining strength.

“It is bigger now than ever before. And he is eternal,” Trump said, adding that he would award Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

While most of the speech focused on determination and faith, Trump veered off-topic several times to touch on political issues — including criticizing his predecessor and praising supporters. He also noted that his approach to opponents is different from Kirk’s because, unlike an activist, he “hates his opponents.”

Vice President Vance urged supporters to continue Kirk’s fight for faith, truth and country:

“For Charlie’s sake, we will restore the greatness of the United States of America. For Charlie’s sake, we will never back down, never fear, and never hesitate, even looking down the barrel of a gun.”

Elon Musk, who has recently had public disputes with Trump, was also present at the service. However, they were spotted talking during the event. Kirk’s burial place is still unknown. Turning Point USA, which he co-founded, has not yet announced where the ceremony will take place.

Let us remind you that Charlie Kirk died on September 10 during an event of the right-wing radical organization Turning Point USA at Utah Valley University. The police established that the suspect in the murder is 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson, who was arrested on September 12.
