A professor from Kyiv called Ukrainian women “hungry” for men: the reaction of Ombudsman Lubinets
The professor of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University caused outrage in Ukrainian society with his statements about Ukrainian women. About this reported ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada for human rights Dmytro Lubinets.
“Today, a video circulated on social networks, where the odious professor of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Ukraine voiced his opinion about Ukrainian women, which outraged society. I am reacting to his statements for the second time – I wrote letters to the Ministry of Education and Culture for the purpose of state supervision (control) of the activities of the educational institution and university – with a demand to conduct an official investigation”Lubinets emphasized.
The ombudsman also announced his intention to appeal to the Security Service of Ukraine, stressing that such unethical behavior goes beyond what is permissible and requires proper assessment by the relevant authorities.
Although Lubinets did not name the professor, the Institute of Mass Information (IMI) reported that it was a teacher of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism of KNU Mykyta Vasylenko. He previously made a scandalous statement that “the presence of foreign troops in Ukraine will improve the demographic situation.”
“Imagine: at least 40,000 men with money, “hungry” for women. Those who have not passed the test of the front, brought up on good European food. And hundreds of thousands of “hungry” Ukrainian women who did not have time to leave for one reason or another, whose husbands died in war or were maimed.” – quoted IMI Vasylenko.
