A single electrician was mobilized in Kanev: now there are problems with electricity in the city
In the city of Kaniv, Cherkasy region, there are problems with street lighting due to the fact that the only electrician was called up for military service. This is reported by Kaniv city council.
The city council noted that city residents complain about the lack of street lighting, and with the onset of autumn, due to rains and wind, it will be even more difficult to fix its work.
Recently, the streets of Kanev have been experiencing intermittent lighting outages, which are only getting worse with the onset of autumn and adverse weather conditions (heavy rains and winds).
“In connection with the repeated appeals of citizens regarding the lack of street lighting, we inform you that from mid-July 2025 in KP “City” missing electrician – the only worker who repaired street lighting, performed electrical installation work, was engaged in the construction of power supply facilities for street lighting, was called up for military service, – declared in the utility company “City”.
Currently, the position remains vacant. The company invites an electrician to work for the repair and maintenance of street lighting.
