The Notary Chamber of Ukraine (NPU) presented the “Search for heirs” website. The online resource was created for notaries to post announcements about the search for heirs in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Notaries” and to facilitate the search for information by the heirs themselves. According to Article 63 of the Law of Ukraine “On Notaries”, if the notary does not know the place of residence or work of the heirs, he has the right to summon them by means of a public announcement. The site “Search for heirs” was created as a single platform for posting such ads, which should simplify the procedure for both notaries and citizens.
“The site is of great importance for citizens, in particular during the war, because there have been more inheritance cases”, – emphasized the NPU.
Among the advantages of the resource are time savings, free use, as well as a simple and convenient interface for notaries and citizens.
