Actor of the films “Cherkasy” and “Myrnyi-21” Yevhenii Lamakh mobilized to the ranks of the ZSU
Actor Yevgeny Lamakh, known for his roles in the films “Mirny-21” and “Kruty 1918”, mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the 1st recruiting center of the Ground Forces and has already started basic military training.
It is not yet known which unit Lamakh will be assigned to, because there are still two months of basic training ahead. The actor is also not sure whether he will be able to combine military service with filming.
“There comes a time when there are more opinions about all this. You understand that this is your country: you were born and raised in it. Here are all yours. And I want to live in this country in the future. I want my children to live in this country. But for this, first of all, security is needed, – noted Yevhenii Lamakh.
He added that his relatives understood his decision.
“Mom got a little upset, cried. But this is the situation. This is a war, unfortunately, the actor said.
Earlier, Lamakh often played military men in movies, in particular in the films “Kruty 1918”, “Cherkasy”, “Ilovaisk 2014. Battalion “Donbas””, “Myrnyi-21”. Yevhenii Lamakh graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Volodymyr Nechiporenko’s workshop. For the role in the film “Cherkasy” he was nominated for two Ukrainian film awards – “Zolota Dzyga” and “Kinokol”.
