The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine plans to launch the Platform for Cultural Restoration for the Regions. About it on April 28 stated Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Halyna Hryhorenko at the forum “Strategy for the development of culture in Ukraine for 2025-2030”.
“We plan to launch the Platform for Cultural Restoration for regions, for communities, in order to make it clear how culture can be used not only for restoration, but how it can become the basis and basis for the revival of certain regions.” – said Halyna Grihorenko.
Anastasia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization, said that the ministry, unfortunately, does not feel enough demand from communities to restore the cultural sphere, in particular, cultural institutions and architectural monuments.
“This is exactly the task that we want to correct with the launch of our Cultural Restoration Platform. It is work with communities to give them an understanding: why culture is needed by society, how we want to continue working with the return of people from abroad, how we want to compete with European cities, how we want to emphasize our identity so that people go to Ukraine.”, – she added.
