After a powerful earthquake, a tsunami threat was declared in the United States

Immediately after the announcement of the tsunami warning, the authorities began to evacuate residents of settlements in the states of California and Oregon that could be affected by possible flooding. In total, more than 4 million people received official notifications about the threat of a natural disaster.

Tsunami waves are expected to reach San Francisco, the service said. By information CNN, citing the US Geological Survey, classifies 7.0 magnitude earthquakes as strong. Such seismic events occur in the world on average 15 times a year.
