After the night attack in Kyiv, more than 5.6 thousand high-rise buildings were left without heat

In Kyiv on January 20, more than 5,600 high-rise buildings were left without heating due to night shelling, the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported on Telegram. The left bank of the capital was also temporarily left without water supply.

“After this attack on the capital, 5,635 high-rise buildings were left without heat. Almost 80 percent of them are houses where the heat supply was restored from January 9, ”, – the mayor noted.

Klychko recalled that on the evening of January 19, out of six thousand houses, only 16 remained without heat, damaged during the previous attack by Russian troops on January 9.

“The Left Bank is still without water supply as a result of today’s attack,”, – he added, emphasizing that utility services and energy workers are already working to restore heat, water and electricity to the homes of Kyiv residents.

According to Klitschko, one person was injured in the night shelling, and in the Dniprovskyi district, non-residential buildings were hit.
