An official from the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center declared crypto assets worth over UAH 7.8 million

Pavlo Kovalchuk, Deputy Head of the Regional Service Center of the State Central Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Rivne, Volyn and Zhytomyr regions, declared cryptocurrency assets worth over 7.85 million hryvnias.

According to the declaration, the official owns WhiteBIT Coin worth 3.1 million hryvnias, Tether worth 4.35 million hryvnias and Sleepless AI Token worth 394,500 hryvnias. All digital assets, according to the declaration, are stored on the WhiteBIT exchange.

Kovalchuk also declared 777,260 hryvnias in salary, 850,000 hryvnias in income from the sale of property, as well as other income, including social benefits and assistance.

The official’s family owns and uses residential buildings in the villages of Lypyny and Lutsk, land plots in Lypyny, Strumivka, Zhabka and Luboml, as well as non-residential premises in Lutsk and Luboml.

In addition, the declaration lists three cars: Audi Q7, Audi Q8 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. The family also declared 20 thousand dollars and 400 thousand hryvnias in cash. The official’s daughter received a fee in Poland in the amount of 209.5 thousand hryvnias, and his wife, according to the declaration, is not officially employed.
