The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) granted permission to the telecommunications company “Kyivstar” to purchase the Uklon taxi service. About this reported Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of AMCU.
“Kyivstar private joint-stock company was granted permission to acquire control over the UKLON LTD company and the limited liability companies “Tech Uklon”, “Uklon Corporate”, “Uklon Ukraine”, – says the message.
According to him, the corresponding decision was made at the meeting of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry after considering the applications of the Kyivstar company.
“The committee came to the conclusion that the actions of PrJSC will not lead to structural changes in any of the three product markets involved (online advertising, the organization of transportation by passenger vehicles, and goods delivery services).” – added the head of AMCU.
According to Forbes, the acquisition of Uklon may cost Kyivstar from 40 to 80 million dollars.
