Andriy Yermak insists on a transparent investigation into his case

Former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated during the court hearing that he was interested in a transparent and impartial consideration of the case. He stressed that he did not intend to use influence or personal connections to avoid responsibility.

“It is important that justice be independent, without influence. I want to show by my own example that I do not use it,” Andriy Yermak emphasized.

Yermak also noted that he had recently felt significant information pressure related to the preparation for the trial. At the same time, he added that he receives support from people who express respect and trust in him.

During the hearing, former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky addressed the court. He filed a motion to include him in the case materials as a prosecution witness.

Earlier, after receiving suspicion from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Yermak stated that he would not comment on the case during the investigation. Further procedural decisions must be made by the court.
