ARMA Chairwoman Olena Duma Submits Resignation

On July 30, the head of the National Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) Olena Duma filed resignation letter.

“I have written a statement to resign from the position of the head of the National Agency for Search and Asset Management and I ask the Government to satisfy it. Today, the law on strengthening the institutional capacity of ARMA officially entered into force. Therefore, it is important to do it on this very day.” — said Olena Duma.

She indicated that she and the team have been working for a long time on the real transformation of ARMA, starting this process in 2023. According to her, the body with an extremely negative reputation and practically zero efficiency finally began to demonstrate real results: billions of revenues to the state budget, transparent work through Prozorro and Prozorro.Sales, maximum openness to the media and society, expansion of international cooperation, identification of all assets, as well as the launch and modernization of the Register of Seized Assets.

She emphasized that from now on all these changes are officially enshrined in Ukrainian legislation. Duma began her tenure by creating a strong professional team, which became the driver of change. Thanks to joint work, it was possible to adopt an effective law, avoiding the inclusion of unconstitutional provisions.

“This is all the result of the work of a large team of professionals, and I am grateful to each chief specialist, head of department, department, department of ARMA and my deputies for their dedicated work for the state. You are an example of worthy, honest and professional civil servants.” Duma emphasized.
