“Army+”: a new application for the military is being launched in Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers defined the purpose, tasks, functions, subjects, structure of the "Army+" portal, issues related to its functioning, etc.
In Ukraine, a new online service “Army+” is being prepared for launch, which will help simplify the maintenance of documentation and the receipt of services by the military. The Ministry of Defense is introducing e-reports and digital defender ID cards to reduce bureaucratic procedures.
At the end of February 2024, the Ministry of Defense announced the development of the “Army+” application, which will allow servicemen to submit various types of reports in electronic form. Digital documents will also be available in the application, including the defender’s ID card.
On July 30, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers officially approved the provisions on the State web portal of electronic public services in the field of national security and defense “Army+”. Government representative in parliament Taras Melnychuk reported, that this provision defines the purpose, tasks, functions, subjects, structure of the “Armiya+” portal and issues related to its functioning. The creation and commissioning of the service is entrusted to the Ministry of Defense.
People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko in detail described tasks that will be solved by “Army+” in accordance with the provisions approved by the Cabinet of Ministers:
- Providing electronic public services with obtaining and using information from state electronic resources;
- The ability to submit an application, electronic reports and other appeals;
- Receiving information from other state electronic resources through an electronic cabinet;
- Formation and display of information contained in military documents;
- Placing multimedia content, conducting surveys and tests;
- Broadcasts of TV or radio programs, etc.
“Each user will have his own account where he can use various services”, – added the people’s deputy.
