Arrested alcohol of a Russian businessman was put up for auction by ARMA

ARMA put up for auction the seized alcoholic beverages belonging to the company “Rust Ukraine”, which is related to the Russian businessman Rustam Tariko. Vodka and liqueurs for the total amount of UAH 14.2 million are offered for sale. About this reported ARMA press office.

The auction is scheduled for September 20, and for ease of sale, the assets were divided into several lots:

  • Lot #1: 163,268 bottles of tinctures of various types (starting price: UAH 9,578,100).
  • Lot #2: 76,140 bottles of vodka (starting price: UAH 3,966,600).
  • Lot #3: 14,646 bottles of champagne (starting price: UAH 684,100).

According to information provided by LIGA.net with reference to the Prozorro.Prodazhi platform, this alcoholic product comes from Poland and Italy and is stored in warehouses in the village of Solonka, Lviv Region. The largest lot, worth almost UAH 9.58 million, consists of 163,268 bottles of Żubrówka and Soplica tinctures.

These assets were seized in the summer of 2022 at the initiative of the Security Service of Ukraine. The company “Rust Ukraine” and JSC “Bank Forward”, also related to Tariko, became the objects of investigations due to suspicions of financial crimes. Tariko, the owner of the Russian Standard holding, also controlled the Forward banking group, which ceased operations on December 29, 2019.

In October 2022, Rustam Tariko was added to the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. In addition to alcohol, ARMA put up for sale 40,000 liters of herbicides with a starting price of almost UAH 3 million.
