As a result of the Russian shelling of a mine in Donetsk region, there is a dead and injured, 146 miners are blocked underground

Today, Russian troops shelled the DTEK mine in Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, one worker was killed and three others were injured. After the shelling, the mines in the Dobropil community were left without electricity, 146 miners are underground. This is reported by the press service of DTEK.

“Another terrorist attack by the enemy on the Ukrainian energy industry. The enemy killed our colleague. Three others were wounded. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. We will never forget and never forgive. We will provide the family with all the necessary help. Injured colleagues are also provided with all the necessary assistance, it says.

As a result of the shelling, the buildings and equipment of the enterprise were damaged, which caused a blackout. At the time of the attack, 146 miners were underground, and they are being brought to the surface.

During the day, Russian troops shelled populated areas of Donetsk region 20 times. In Dobropilla, which is part of the Kryvorizka community, two residential buildings were damaged. One person died and another was injured in Yampol. In Kostyantynivka, four people were injured as a result of the strikes, 21 high-rise buildings, two administrative buildings, a bank building and two power lines were damaged. Six houses were destroyed in Siversk as a result of Russian attacks.
