Biden mentioned Ukraine in his farewell speech

Current US President Joe Biden, in his short farewell speech delivered on the eve of the end of his presidential term, mentioned Ukraine in the context of foreign policy achievements and efforts to “strengthen NATO”. About this informs CNN.

Biden addressed Americans from the Oval Office of the White House as he prepares to hand over power next week. He expressed the hope that the results of his work will remain visible and bring benefits for many years to come.

“It will take time to feel the full impact of what we have done together. But the seed has been planted, and it will grow and bloom for decades.” – said Biden.

In the speech, the president recalled key accomplishments of his administration, including lowering drug costs for seniors, passing gun safety laws, and providing veterans with expanded access to health care. He especially emphasized the strengthening of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Ukraine remains free, and we are ahead of our competition with China and much more.” – stressed Biden.
