Boris Pistorius and Mikhail Fedorov visited frontline regions

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov visited frontline regions and visited military headquarters near the front line.

“We visited several military headquarters on the front line. The servicemen showed the operational situation at the front, how they work with the DELTA system, plan assault operations, destroy enemy logistics, conduct reconnaissance and coordinate different types of drones in a single combat control system,” said Mikhail Fedorov.

Fedorov also reported that, together with Pistorius, he participated online in the meeting of EU defense ministers chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas.

“It was here that the message about the need to continue supporting Ukraine and ensuring the flexibility of the European loan to close the most priority requests of the front sounded particularly clear,” emphasized Mikhail Fedorov.

According to Fedorov, Germany has financed over one billion dollars for the development of deep strike and mid strike capabilities and became the first country to support drone assault units.

During the visit, Pistorius also visited the positions of one of the air defense units and the damaged TPP-5 in Kyiv. Ukraine and Germany continue to work on joint defense projects.
