Businesses received UAH 2 billion in loans under the government’s energy programmes: Shmyhal

The government continues the active implementation of energy programs aimed at increasing Ukraine’s energy independence. Currently, applications for financing business projects in the amount of 7.9 billion hryvnias have been approved, of which more than 2 billion hryvnias have already been actually allocated in the form of loans. Loans for business

The “5-7-9 Available Loans” program enables entrepreneurs to purchase generators of various types, including gas turbine, gas piston, and biogas plants. The maximum loan amount for business is up to UAH 150 million with a credit term of up to 10 years.

Soft loans are provided for large enterprises that aim to build their own generation, worth more than UAH 150 million. They are available from 19 of the largest banks of Ukraine, and the maximum lending amount can reach 25 million euros. The credit term is up to 7 years with favorable interest rates.

Loans for condominiums and condominiums

Condominiums and condominiums can also use the “Affordable loans 5-7-9” program, receiving financing of up to UAH 5 million at 7% per annum. These funds can be used to purchase solar panels, inverters, electricity storage systems and other energy efficiency equipment.

In addition, the “GreenDIM” program offers state compensation of up to 70% of the cost of solar power plants and heat pumps for condominiums and condominiums. The maximum amount of compensation can reach UAH 3 million in case of simultaneous installation of a SPP and a heat pump.

Loans for individuals

Individuals can take advantage of a soft loan at 0% for the purchase of generating plants that produce electricity from alternative sources. These can be both solar panels with storage systems and wind turbines. The maximum loan amount is up to 480,000 hryvnias with a term of up to 10 years.

To participate in the program, you should apply to partner banks, including “PrivatBank”, “Oshchadbank”, “Ukrgasbank”, “Sens Bank” and “Globus” bank. It is expected that the list of partner banks will grow.
