Chaos broke out at Warsaw airport due to a power outage

On January 10, passenger services were temporarily suspended at Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw due to a failure in the power supply system. About this informs RMF24.
The problems occurred around 3 a.m. during a test of the airport’s systems. This led to disruptions in flight check-in and other standard procedures, which forced the temporary suspension of passenger services. There were long queues in the terminals, no information about scheduled flight arrivals or departures could be seen on the screens.
“Airport services are on site to restore full systems functionality,” – said the airport administration.
Later, the press service of the airport reported that the main problem was solved. Flight arrivals have resumed, and departing passengers can check in as usual. People with tickets for January 10 were urged to come to the airport while keeping a close eye on updates from the airport and airlines.
