DeepState reports on the occupation of two villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region by the Russian army
Russian troops occupied the villages of Zaporizhia and Novogeorgiivka in the Synelnyk district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, and also advanced in the area of the village of Shevchenko in the Donetsk region and near the settlements of Bila Hora and Oleksandro-Shultine in the direction of Kostiantynivka. This was reported by DeepState on August 26.
“The enemy occupied Zaporizhzhya and Novogeorgiivka, and also advanced near Shevchenko, Bila Hora and Oleksandr-Shultyny”, the message says.
These are the first two villages of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which, according to DeepState, were under the full control of Russian troops. Previously, it was only about the control of the occupiers over areas outside the boundaries of settlements and partial control over the village of Dachne, which is now mostly in the “grey zone”.
The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in its summary for August 25 confirmed the information about the occupation of Zaporizhzhia and Novogeorgiivka, marking them on its maps as enemy-controlled territories. At the same time, earlier in its summaries, the Institute reported on the capture of the village of Maliivka, which DeepState does not confirm, classifying it as a “grey zone”.
“Geolocation footage published on August 25 indicates that Russian troops have recently advanced in the central part of the village of Vorone and captured Zaporizhzhya”, says the ISW summary, which also notes the enemy’s advance near Novogeorgiivka.
