At a meeting on December 31, the government adopted a resolution that will allow obtaining a taxpayer card in the “Diya” application. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, emphasizing that this document is one of the most necessary in the everyday life of Ukrainians.
A taxpayer card is often required when entering educational institutions, opening bank accounts, finding a job, and in many other situations, so simplifying the procedure for obtaining it was long overdue.
According to Fedorov, the state is preparing the most convenient mechanism for issuing the document. In the near future, parents will be able to order a taxpayer card for their child online through «Diya», as well as issue it offline at TsNAPs. After that, the document will be available on a smartphone, and it can be printed or transferred in digital format if necessary.
The official launch of the service at «Diya» and TsNAPs will be announced separately. In the future, they also plan to add the ability to order an “e-taxpayer card” for adults and children in case of loss or damage to a paper document.
