We remind you that on August 24, 2025, Ukraine celebrated the 34th anniversary of the declaration of its independence. This day was established in honor of the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR of the Act of Proclamation of Independence of Ukraine on August 24, 1991 — a political and legal document that determined the new status of the state. The final confirmation of this status took place during the All-Ukrainian referendum on December 1, 1991, when 90.32% of citizens supported independence.
