Donald Trump’s doctor announced the results of his medical examination

Donald Trump’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, said that according to the results of a routine medical examination, the American president is in an “exceptional state of health”. This is reported by the Associated Press.

Trump spent about three hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where his doctor, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, performed a “scheduled check-up” that was “part of his ongoing health maintenance plan.” During the visit, the head of the White House received an annual flu vaccine and a booster shot against COVID-19.

“President Donald Trump remains in exceptional health, demonstrating excellent cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and physical performance”, Barbabella said in a memo.

The doctor added that the examination helped prepare the president for future trips abroad; it included modern diagnostic procedures, laboratory tests and preventive examinations. Barbabella also estimated Trump’s cardiac age as “about 14 years younger” for his chronological age. Trump is now 79 years old; at the time of his inauguration, he was the oldest US president.

At first, the White House called the visit a “routine annual checkup,” although Trump had already had an annual medical checkup in April 2025. Later, the president himself described it as a “semi-annual medical examination”.

We will remind you that in July of this year, Trump underwent additional examinations due to swelling of his legs and bruises on his hands, and doctors discovered a vein disease that is common among people over 70 years old.
