Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk stated, that the West should unite to support Ukraine in order to achieve a just peace and not allow speculation about its possible defeat.
According to Tusk, “we all face a difficult struggle for the future of Ukraine, Poland and Europe”. In this regard, he called on the leaders of Western countries to strengthen their support for Kyiv.
“All of us, without exception, must support Ukraine at this time more than ever before, for the sake of the peace we are all waiting for – nobody wants peace more than Ukraine, we know that; and nobody in the EU wants peace more , than Poland, for similar reasons,” – said the Polish Prime Minister.
Tusk emphasized that a just peace will be possible only when the entire West directs its efforts towards this goal.
“Stop speculating from any capital of the world about the possible defeat of Ukraine, it has nothing to do with the facts. Ukraine continues to successfully defend itself against Russian aggression, despite skepticism and the insidious voices of individual detractors.” – he emphasized.
