DTEK will build one of the largest wind power plants in Europe in the Poltava region
DTEK Energy Holding intends to build a 650 MW wind power plant in Poltava region. The project cost is 1.2 billion euros. This was reported by DTEK.
The company said that the new power plant will become one of the largest onshore wind farms in Europe.
The plant is planned to be built in the Poltava region. It will include approximately 100 wind turbines, and the total investment in construction will reach about 1.2 billion euros.
“The new wind farm will help strengthen the country’s energy sustainability. It will also compensate for the capacities damaged by enemy attacks,” DTEK emphasized.
DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko called on international partners to join the “construction of a modern, European energy system.”
