Due to the night attack of the Russian Federation, power outages are possible according to schedules throughout Ukraine
On the evening of May 8, energy companies may introduce a power cut for household and industrial consumers throughout Ukraine after a new massive attack by the Russians.

Possible restrictions are planned for the evening hours — from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., when the company expects a particularly difficult situation. The reason is a shortage of electricity in the power system, which arose due to new damage to power plant equipment as a result of Russian strikes.
“Ukrenergo” assured that it is taking all available measures to overcome the deficit, in particular import and emergency assistance of electricity from the energy systems of European countries. Ukrainians were urged to consume electricity sparingly, especially in the evening hours.
Restrictions will be evenly distributed across all regions. Schedules of outages will be published on the official pages of Oblenergo.
Currently, due to hostilities and attacks, there are power cuts in 9 regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv and Sumy
Also, due to bad weather in the morning, 31 settlements in Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions were cut off, and another 411 – for other reasons.
