Eight people were killed, about 200 injured, and dozens went missing in Israel as a result of overnight attacks by Iran.

On the night of June 15, the Iranian army continued a massive rocket attack on Israel, as a result of which eight people were killed, about 200 were injured, dozens of people are considered missing under the rubble. It is reported The Guardian.

According to the information of the Israeli emergency services, it is currently unknown exactly how many rockets hit the settlements of Rehovot and Bat Yam near Tel Aviv. It is known that a 69-year-old woman, an 80-year-old woman and two children, including a ten-year-old boy, died in these areas.

Israeli sources also reported that one of the Iranian missiles probably hit the Weizmann Institute of Science building in Tel Aviv.

The Times of Israel reports that at least 200 people were injured after the overnight attack by Iran. According to Israeli media estimates, as of 5 a.m., about 35 people were missing after a rocket strike destroyed a residential building in Bat Yam.

In addition, according to the newspaper, four more people died in the city of Tamra in the north of Israel, near Haifa. Among them are a mother and her two daughters aged 20 and 13.

Rescuers continue to conduct search operations among the rubble of buildings destroyed by missile attacks carried out by Iran.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces announced the launch of strikes on the building of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, as well as on fuel depots.
