Every week, the Ministry of Internal Affairs receives more than 300 requests for the rehabilitation of servicemen and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the “Electronic Cabinet of the Victim”, available on the official website of the department. About this reported State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk during a working meeting with the adviser to the Minister of Social Policy Olena Kulchynska and the general director of the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities Vitaly Muzychenko.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has introduced the “Electronic cabinet of the victim”, which currently receives more than 300 requests for the rehabilitation of military personnel and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs every week”, Yashchuk said.
Prosthetics for military personnel became a special challenge for the department, as it is important that every wounded person receives quality care. Yashchuk emphasized that the rehabilitation and support of servicemen is a priority for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and this issue is constantly under the management’s control.
In the medical facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, assistance is provided to all those involved in hostilities or elimination of their consequences. Olena Kulchynska also emphasized the possibility of obtaining highly functional prostheses for the military at the expense of the state budget.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of development of prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation in Ukraine, as well as challenges and prospects of this industry.
