In Nizhyn, after the strikes of the Russian Federation on energy facilities, there is a complete lack of electricity supply

In Nizhyn, after Russia’s attacks on energy facilities, electricity supply was completely stopped. The city’s schools will switch to distance learning from next week. This is notified by the Mayor of Nizhyn Oleksandr Kodola.

According to him, in connection with the power outages, the local authorities held an urgent meeting of the commission on emergency situations and made a number of important decisions.

“First of all, from Monday, October 6, all educational institutions of the city will switch to distance learning”, Kodola noted.

All critical infrastructure facilities, including water supply and hospitals, operate on generators. Vodokanal has already published the water supply schedule. The city also deployed eight “unbreakable points” where residents can recharge their gadgets.

Let us remind you that on October 1, more than 300,000 subscribers in the Chernihiv region were left without electricity due to a massive strike by the Russian occupiers on energy infrastructure facilities. In response, the region introduced schedules for power outages.

October 2, “Chernihivoblenergo” reported that the schedules of blackouts are increasing due to the deterioration of the situation in the power system.
