Fires broke out in Kharkiv region as a result of Russian UAV attack, there are casualties among civilians and rescuers

A nighttime attack by Russian drones has caused large-scale fires in the Kharkiv region, with civilians and rescuers injured. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Three fire outbreaks were recorded in the village of Dokuchayevske – two private houses, a gas pipe and a civilian infrastructure facility were engulfed in flames. One of the Russian drones hit the building of the Rohansk local fire brigade, which led to significant damage to the fire station and equipment. In the village of Ruska Lozova, a private residential building caught fire.

According to preliminary information, six civilians were injured as a result of the shelling, including two firefighters from the local fire department. All fire outbreaks have been eliminated. Rescuers, pyrotechnic units, dog handlers and fire teams worked on the ground.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck seven settlements in the Kharkiv region. Four people were injured as a result of the shelling. The enemies actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region, including one guided aerial bomb (KAB), eleven drones of the “Geran-2” type, one FPV drone and sixteen unmanned aerial vehicles, the type of which is being specified.

As a result of the strikes, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed. In the Kupyansk district, two private houses in the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi were damaged. In the Kharkiv district, damage was recorded to a private house and an outbuilding in the village of Tsupivka, two private houses and one building in Dokuchayevske, and a private house in Ruska Lozova.

Energy workers restored electricity supply to subscribers in the Lozova district who were left without electricity due to shelling. At the same time, temporary outages are possible in the event of network overload.
