Free business school for military personnel launched in Ukraine

PrivatBank, in cooperation with the European Business Association, “OLX Ukraine” and Mastercard, launched a new educational project called “Business school for defenders”. As informs the bank’s press service, the initiative is implemented on the Privatbank Business Platform and is aimed at supporting Ukrainian military personnel and veterans in their transition to civilian life through the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills.
The main goal of this project is to provide defenders of Ukraine with knowledge, tools and support that will help them adapt to new realities and develop their own business. It is noted that the course will be free and available not only to military personnel, but also to their relatives who conduct business in the rear while their loved ones are at the front. The start of training is scheduled for October 22.
PrivatBank emphasizes that this project is designed to help military personnel realize their entrepreneurial ambitions, using already acquired skills, as well as developing new ones. The bank believes that creating one’s own business can become not only a source of economic independence for the military, but also an effective way of adapting to peaceful life after the war. This is also an important step for strengthening the economic stability of Ukraine in the future.
For its part, the European Business Association notes that currently 43% of small and medium-sized businesses have employees serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After returning from the front, many of them will need new knowledge and retraining, which this educational project will provide.
In addition, it is worth reminding that on October 15, another important educational initiative will start – the program from Google “Basics of cyber security for business”, which also includes a practical seminar on artificial intelligence. These programs create additional opportunities for military personnel and entrepreneurs seeking to develop their skills and adapt to today’s challenges.
