Gemini AI gets scheduled actions feature

Google Company presented a new feature for its Gemini AI, “scheduled actions,” which lets you automate routine tasks and receive personalized updates. Users can now set certain actions to be performed at specific times or turn requests into recurring tasks.
A special page has appeared in the Gemini settings to manage such actions. For example, a user can instruct Gemini to send emails or messages at specified times, monitor specific news topics, or create brief overviews of events on the day they occur.
This feature is currently only available to users with Google AI Pro or Ultra subscriptions, and to customers of Google Workspace business and education plans. Gemini was able to analyze not only documents and PDF files in Google Drive, but also videos. This allows you to quickly respond to requests about the content of videos and view a summary without having to watch the entire video.
Gemini will soon have an updated text copy engine, making this process more like a standard web page interaction on a computer. In the mobile version, users will be able to hold text, swipe to highlight the desired fragment, and immediately access the “Copy” and “Share” buttons for quick access to information.
