Germany speculated what would happen if Russia won

The Minister of Finance of Germany, Christian Lindner, warns of the possible disintegration of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance in the event of Russia’s victory in the war with Ukraine.
In his interview He gave ZEIT ONLINE serious reasons for this threat, noting that Russia’s violation of international law and its aggressive policy could become a stumbling block for the unity of the EU and NATO.
“If we accept Russia’s violation of international law and aggressive war, the EU and NATO may fall apart. Because Poles and Czechs, for example, would ask themselves whether we would abandon them in the same way in an emergency situation”, – said Lindner.
Lindner also emphasized that a large influx of refugees from Ukraine to EU countries, including Germany, will significantly increase the financial pressure on European economies. He noted that Germany would not only have to accept these refugees, but also provide them with support, which would be much more expensive than current aid.
We will remind that US President Joe Biden told how, in his opinion, peace in Ukraine should be. He noted that if Russia manages to win this war, the Baltic countries and more will be in danger. The President of the Czech Republic, Petro Pavel, believes that Ukraine will not be able to regain all its territories in the near future. A friend of our state urged to look at the situation realistically.
