Government approves action plan for 2025 for implementation of Cybersecurity Strategy

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted an order approving the 2025 action plan for the implementation of the Cyber Security Strategy. About this informs press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The relevant order was adopted on the basis of a document developed by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
It defines the key tasks that must be completed during the year in the following areas:
- improvement of the regulatory framework in the field of cyber security;
- development of the organizational and technological component of the national cyber security system;
- activation of cooperation with international partners of Ukraine;
- implementation of a risk-oriented approach to ensure cyber security of critical infrastructure objects and state bodies;
- further development of the system of training specialists in the field of cyber security.
Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleg Nemchinov emphasized that in Ukraine there is an increase in the number and scale of cyber-attacks aimed at disrupting the operation of information and communication systems affecting national security and defense. 468.8 million hryvnias have been earmarked in the State Budget for 2025 for various actors to implement the measures provided for in the plan.
We would like to remind you that the Cyber Security Strategy of Ukraine for 2021-2025 was approved by the Presidential Decree of August 26, 2021. The document defines that ensuring cyber security is one of the national security priorities.
