How many Ukrainians are against the new law on mobilization: survey results

Based on data from Kyivskyi international of the Institute of Sociology, as part of the “Mobilise” project, new information about Ukrainian society and its attitude to the new law on mobilization appeared. According to the results of the survey, 34% of Ukrainians support this law (partially or completely), 20% do not support it, and 32% do not agree with its provisions at all.

However, the fact that 14% of respondents refused to answer the question attracts special attention. Sociologists explain that this does not necessarily mean a rejection of the law itself or support for its opponents. Some of the respondents may have a neutral attitude towards the law or may not be fully aware of its complex aspects.

The authors of the survey emphasize that there is no unanimous opinion among Ukrainians regarding the necessity or clear attitude to the Law on Mobilization. According to them, this shows that society understands the need to improve recruitment procedures and its own fears about the possible consequences of mobilization.
