“Idiot who has no respect for anyone”: Anthony Joshua criticized Fury
Former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua does not hide his satisfaction with the defeat of Tyson Fury by Oleksandr Usyk in the fight for the absolute championship. British believes that Fury, who treated Usyk disrespectfully, received a well-deserved punishment.
“I am glad that Fury did not become the absolute champion. Always said he’s an idiot, he doesn’t respect anyone, Joshua said.
He also criticized Fury’s behavior towards Usyk, calling it unacceptable for the sport,
“If I respect you and you respect me, we can elevate this sport and make people think we are two of the most elite fighters in the world. But Fury steps on you and makes you look like a guy who just walked out of the pub. Then he entered the ring and got what he deservedx,” adds Joshua.
Joshua believes that boxers of the level of Fury and Usyk should maintain a high standard of behavior and mutual respect, and not stoop to insults and humiliations.
We will remind you that on September 21, Joshua will fight with Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title, and the rematch between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21. Usyk is no longer an absolute champion. After a loud statement, the Ukrainian was left without the title of champion.
