In Dnipropetrovsk region, members of the White Brotherhood who sold psychotropic substances will be tried

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 11 members of the criminal organization “White Brotherhood,” which sold up to 35,000 doses of psychotropic substances every month, will appear in court. This is on the police website. Dnipropetrovsk Region.
According to the investigation, the leaders of the group established a monopoly on the drug trade in Nikopol and Pokrov. The organization consisted of several structural links and had more than 20 participants. Every month, illegal activity brought a profit of more than 12 million hryvnias. Part of these funds was spent on the development of the scheme and payments to participants, the rest – on luxury cars and rest.
Organized “business” four local residents with experience in drug trafficking. One of them ordered wholesale shipments of methamphetamine, cannabis and PVP, which came through so-called “master caches”. Then the drugs were transferred to partners who controlled the distribution in the cities. Packers prepared small batches for couriers who made bookmarks or sold goods from hand to hand for cash.
In March of this year, operatives of the strategic investigations department of the National Police in the region, together with the investigators of the regional department, exposed and neutralized the activities of the group. At that time, almost 60 searches were conducted and participants were detained. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court under the procedural guidance of the Dnipro Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The extras are charged with creating and participating in a criminal organization (parts 1, 2 of article 255 of the Criminal Code), as well as illegal acquisition, storage and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (parts 2, 3 of article 27, part 4 of article 28, part 3 of article 307 of the Criminal Code). The maximum punishment for the accused is up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
