In Ivano-Frankivsk, a man bit an employee of the territorial picking center on the leg during an attempt to check his documents. About this informs Ivano-Frankivsk TCC and JV.

According to the TCC, during a joint patrol with the police as part of planned measures to report and clarify credentials, a man of military age, citizen Oleksiy S., born in 1988, was stopped. During the document check, he began to resist and bit the soldier’s leg, which had already been wounded in the war zone.

After the incident, the man tried to run away and showed aggression towards police officers. It was established that he is a resident of the Kherson region who came to Ivano-Frankivsk, but did not register for the military at his new place of residence. He also did not report a change of address and did not have any military registration document with him. The detainee was sent to the district TCC to undergo a military medical examination in accordance with the established procedure.

“In this situation, the use of force by the serviceman was forced, justified and expressly provided for by the legislation, given the direct attack and infliction of bodily harm. That is why such actions are not qualified as a violation, but as a necessary defense and a legitimate response to a threat.”,” explained the TCC.

At the same time in social networks appeared video, which probably recorded part of the incident that took place on April 9 on Naberezhnaya Street in Ivano-Frankivsk. According to users, the footage shows the beating of a conscript during mobilization activities.
