In Odesa, the 72-year-old mother of the deceased defender, who works at a school, was attacked. About this incident reported Director of the Department of Education Olena Buynevych.
The woman turned to the office of the Batkivshchyna city organization, which deals with social assistance. There, she was promised an agreement for medical care by the IntoSana company, but the employee refused to let her inside. During the conflict, the mother of the dead serviceman was hit in the chest and pressed to the floor with her knee.
The victim was able to escape, but she became ill at work. The medics who arrived on call reported the case to the law enforcement officers. However, instead of an investigation, the situation began to turn against the victim: she was called, humiliated and accused of assault, demanding punishment.
The mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, reacted to the event, assuring that the woman will be provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
“There is a terrible incident in Odesa. The 72-year-old mother of the deceased defender, who works at an Odesa school, reported that she was brutally beaten … The woman will be provided with all the necessary medical and psychological assistance. I am taking this matter under my personal control. We are waiting for the assessment and appropriate actions of the law enforcement officers. The guilty must suffer the well-deserved punishment.” – reported Trukhanov.
