In the application “Army+” launched a new course on tactical medicine

In the application “Army+” launched a new training course “Tactical Medicine”, which teaches basic first aid skills on the battlefield and helps servicemen save their lives and those of their comrades in critical situations.

Knowledge of tactical medicine gives a chance to save life, because every minute counts when injured. The course contains only the most necessary information — from stopping bleeding to preparing the wounded for evacuation.

In 11 modules and 29 lessons, the key topics of tactical medicine are revealed: the MARCH algorithm and its application, stopping massive bleeding by various means, ensuring the patency of the respiratory tract and helping with chest injuries, controlling blood circulation, shock and consciousness of the victim, helping with burns, fractures, eye and head injuries, preventing hypothermia, using an individual first aid kit and PILL PACK, preparing for evacuation and transfer of information to doctors.

Each module consists of short video lessons with a demonstration of approaches in takmed and contains test tasks, and in the final there is a test, after which the military receives an electronic certificate. The course is conducted by tactical medicine instructors of the 4th separate medical battalion.

We remind you that the application “Army+” created by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, 15 training courses are available in the application — from basic military training to digital document management and work with robotic complexes. There are also plans to launch new training on the topics of cyber hygiene and the DELTA situational awareness system.
