In the Odesa region, an employee of the TCC sold summonses for $ 1000 each

In the Odesa region, an employee of the TCC organized an illegal income scheme, selling summonses for $1,000 each. About this informs police of Odesa region.
“Investigators of the investigative department of the National Security Service in Odesa region together with the employees of the strategic investigations department in the Odesa region of the DSR NPU with the assistance of the Odesa regional center of recruitment and social support exposed and stopped the illegal activities of a serviceman of one of the district territorial centers of recruitment and social support”. – says the message.
According to the police, an employee of the TCC demanded money from a man of conscription age for issuing a summons with a validity period of six days, which allowed its owner to move freely within the territory of Ukraine during this period. At first, he asked for $1,000 for the document, but later increased the price by another 2,000 hryvnias. After the subpoena expired, the attacker offered to issue new documents for the same fee.
The man was detained while receiving the bribe and handing over the summons. The police seized part of the funds received, a mobile phone, a summons and other material evidence.
He was declared suspect for h. 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding solicitation and receipt of unlawful benefits by an official. According to the law, the accused faces up to 10 years of imprisonment, a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for three years, as well as confiscation of property.
