Investigative journalist and author of YouTube channel Bihus Info Denis Bigus reported that he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“ Vinnytsia TCC made me an offer that is difficult to refuse”, explained the journalist.
Bigus joined the ranks of volunteers of the Armed Forces at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, served two years and was able to be released. He noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet granted him the status of a combatant.
“After my discharge, I was absolutely convinced that I would be mobilized in a few months and treated civilian life as an unscheduled leave, filling it with military tasks as much as possible, occasionally wondering why the leave was taking so long. So they mobilized. I never had armor, Bigus said.
The journalist also noted that the Bihus.Info project will continue its work without his participation. According to Bigus, the experience of his absence from the editorial office in 2022-2023 showed that it is impossible to combine war and work in the media.
“The question is, firstly, time, and, secondly, there will be no desire in reality. Interesting will be enough anyway and I’m not that multitasking.
