Iran’s president apologizes to neighboring countries, Trump threatens “very strong blow”

On March 7, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized to the Gulf states and promised to stop strikes on neighboring states if their territory was not used for attacks on Tehran. According to him, Iran’s interim ruling council has informed the Armed Forces about the prohibition of attacks on neighboring countries, except in cases where they themselves carry out aggression. This was reported by CNN.

“I personally apologize to the neighboring countries that Iran attacked. We have no intention of attacking neighboring countries. As I have repeatedly said, they are our brothers,” Pezeshkian said.

He called on the Gulf states not to become “a toy in the hands of imperialism” and stressed the importance of diplomatic resolution of conflicts.

However, after the appeal, aerial targets continued to be intercepted over the UAE, and sirens were heard in Bahrain.

US President Donald Trump responded to Pezeshkian’s statement, calling Iran a “loser” and announcing a new “very strong strike.” According to him, Tehran made such promises only because of the constant attacks of the United States and Israel.

“Iran, which is in a terrible state, apologized and surrendered to its Middle Eastern neighbors… This is the first time in thousands of years that Iran has lost,” — Trump wrote in Truth Social.

He added that Iran is no longer a “Middle Eastern bully” but instead a “Middle Eastern loser,” and noted that due to Iran’s bad behavior, the possibility of serious strikes on its territory and population.
