Japan handed Ukraine the latest equipment to improve water supply, including purification and disinfection systems. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
“We appreciate our cooperation with Japan and are deeply grateful for the launch of a new project with JICA – Phase 4 of the Emergency Recovery Program, which also includes a sub-project for improving water supply. The war has put a lot of strain on our critical infrastructure, including water supply and drainage systems, so this support is extremely important to us.”, – said Deputy Minister Maryna Denysiuk.
The equipment that arrived in Ukraine includes water filtration and disinfection systems, tanker trucks, aeration systems, generators for water purification equipment, as well as other necessary means.
“Such actions reflect the mutual support between our countries and emphasize Japan’s active role in helping Ukraine to recover. All this is an important step on the way to increasing the reliability of our public services.” Denisyuk stressed.
