JSC “Kyivgaz” ordered a luxury Mercedes with a glass roof for 5 million hryvnias

JSC “Kyivgaz” ordered a passenger car worth 5.13 million UAH, or 106 thousand euros, from LLC “Automobile House Ukravto Ukraine”. This is reported in the “Prozorro” system.

By April 30, 2026, a new all-wheel drive minivan Mercedes-Benz V-Class Avantgarde V 300 d extra long 2025 model year in the color “black obsidian metallic” should be delivered to Kyiv.

The eight-seater car is equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 237 horsepower, a 9-speed automatic transmission, a central airbag, front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, as well as curtain airbags in the front and rear.

The suspension is also provided for bad roads, blind spot assistant, active lane keeping assistant, parking package with all-round cameras, driver fatigue monitoring system, driver surveillance camera, automatic climate control, heated front seats, heated leather steering wheel, electric sliding doors and tailgate, winter package, etc. The seller’s website states that the Mercedes-Benz V-Class has a sliding panoramic roof. The warranty is two years or 200 thousand km.

The contract provides for an advance payment of 20% on the day of receipt of the invoice and payment of the rest after delivery. The price is calculated using a formula tied to the euro exchange rate on the date of payment.

According to data from the seller’s website, a similar diesel all-wheel drive minivan Mercedes-Benz V-Class V 300EXC/E4X2 3430 with an “automatic” cost UAH 5.97 million before it was reserved. The purchase was made without bidding, as the previous tender was canceled due to the lack of offers. During the canceled bidding, confirmation of the implementation of a similar contract in 2022–2025 was required, as well as documentary confirmation of the status of a manufacturer or official dealer.

The shareholders of “Kyivgaz” are PrJSC “Kyivenergoholding Company” (60%), the Kyiv community (28.5%), Andriy Vingranovskyi and Eduard Shvydkyi (5.5% each). “Kyivenergoholding” is owned by Kyiv by 61%, Andriy Vingranovskyi’s British “Artio Global Investors Ltd” by 25%, and the Cypriot “Densec Limited” by 14%, which previously belonged to Ukrainian Dmytro Davydenko.

Since 2010, the board of directors of “Kyivgaz” has been headed by Serhiy Gorovy, the son-in-law of the leader of the parliamentary faction “OPZZH” Yuriy Boyko. After Gorovyi’s death in 2019, the company was headed by Andriy Vingranovskyi, the husband of Yulia Lyovochkina, Serhiy Lyovochkin’s sister. The Lyovochkin family also represented the “OPZZH” in the Verkhovna Rada, but Yulia Lyovochkina resigned her mandate in 2022.
