A judge from Kyiv is suspected of illegal enrichment in the amount of more than 16 million hryvnias and of entering false information into declarations. reports this by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
The anti-corruption center notes that it is about the judge of the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal Lyudmila Kropyvna.
According to the investigation, at the end of 2021, Judge Kropyvna purchased two plots of land and a house in the Kyiv region, the value of which exceeds her legal income by more than UAH 16 million. On real estate sites, these objects were sold for almost $1 million, while the final cost was about $900,000 (approximately UAH 24 million at the NBU exchange rate on the date of purchase).
In addition, the judge underestimated the value of this property in her declarations for 2021-2024 by UAH 16 million. According to the declarations, we are talking about a house and a plot in the village of Kozyn near Kyiv, the declared value of which is UAH 8.2 million.
The pre-trial investigation was started on the basis of SBU materials and was conducted under the operational support of its employees.
